So now Facebook pages can have both followers and fans. They have separated statistics and everything. In one of my page, followers and fans grow and different rates. My question is, What's the difference between fans of a Facebook page and followers of a Facebook page?
Liking a Business Page When an individual likes your page on Facebook, they automatically opt into following your page. Following a Business Page Facebook users have the option to follow a page without hitting the like button.
The differences can be confusing, especially with Facebook's terminology. Basically, the difference is this: liking a page shows your endorsement of it, and others can see that you like it, whereas following a page keeps you informed about new posts made on or by that page. When you choose to follow a page, you'll be notified of posts to that page though you can change the level of notifications similarly to how you are notified when your friends post.
You can start Business Manager for someone but it will show that your profile created it. Business Managers can work together and give access to another Business Manager under the Partners section of the Business Settings. Some accounts have been prompted to migrate to the Business Manager and may have a message in their Ads Account area. Step 1: The first step is to just name your Business Manager account. It can be the same name as your Page, just realize that when you are navigating around.
Step 2: The second step is just creating your name and email you will use for your Business Manager. You can use a different email or the same one you use to log into your personal profile if you want. After you get set up they will also ask if you want to add a Page and Claim an Ads Account. Claiming an Ads Account cannot be undone that I can see so be very careful about claiming Ads Accounts. You can always request access to another Ads Account and then the owner of that Ads Account will retain the information about the ads and stats.
Learn the difference between Claiming an account and Requesting Access to an account. This can all be done from the Business Settings Page either the blue button in the upper right corner or navigate to the menu item from the upper left corner.
More on these steps in the next section. Once you are in the Business Settings section, your screen will look like this. You need to weigh these subtle differences and decide what aspects are more important to you.
A major generalization I am going to make is if you need more control over your content perhaps a Group is a better choice for you. If you are looking for your Facebook page to be more of a running conversation from all walks of people interested in your products, services, company, employees etc.

Pages actually outperform Profiles when it comes to engagement. The best practice encouraged by Facebook is to use a Page for these kinds of personalities. In the top 20 markets, roughly 8 percent of broadcasters are still using Profiles. We helped them develop the talking points.
